Maqbool Habib Khalifan - Chairman

 
Mr. Maqbool (born 1955) has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Cairo University and a rich business experience spanning over 30 years. He began his career in 1968 with Eastern Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank) followed by setting up of the United Bank Ltd. which was the first overseas branch of the famous Pakistani Commercial Bank in Qatar

In 1979, he Joined Doha Bank where he played a major role in establishing and promoting the developments of Doha Bank – in recognition of which he was, in December 1987 he was promoted as the General Manager of Doha Bank. In 1997 he joined the Qatar Industrial Development Bank as General Manager and played a significant role in establishing the first non commercial bank in Qatar.
 
  With such a rich experience in Money and Banking, in 2001, Mr. Maqbool became an entrepreneur and established several successful businesses including Arabian Exchange Company , Gulf Colours and several medium businesses. In 2007 when VOLTAMP wanted to enter Qatar, Mr. Maqbool’s vision helped the company set up the countries first Transformer manufacturing company and the board was unanimous in requesting him to guide the company as the Chairman of the board of directors.  
     
 
 

Ravinder Bhan - General Manager

 
A technically qualified & internationally exposed, Electrical Business Manager, Ravinder (born 1956) has a total 25+Yrs of industry experience that includes past 11 Years as the P&L both in India and Middle East. Ravinder has worked in internationally reputed electrical manufacturing companies such as Crompton Greaves, Larsen and Toubro Limited and Jyoti Limited in India.

He joined VOLTAMP in 2003 as the General Manager of the Oman plant and was responsible for increasing both the Production and Revenues by several times. In 2006, the board of Directors was pleased to accept his proposal for a VOLTAMP venture into Qatar – which he was then deputed as the General Manager.
 
  Ravinder believes his best achievements are the teams that he has led – who are proof of what we got done together. He is always available to customers even for the minutest pre sales or post support. ravinder.bhan@voltampqatar.com  
     
 
 

Davinder Singh Uppal - Financial Controller

 
A Chartered Accountant, Davinder (born 1968) has over 18 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Taxation and Commercial affairs within industries ranging from Manufacturing, Assembling, Non Banking Financial Companies to FMCG.

Davinder has worked in companies of repute both in India and in the Middle East such as Ernst & Young, Fedders Lloyd Corporation Ltd, Lloyd Electric and Engineering Ltd etc. He has been responsible in setting up factories in his tenure. His expertise range from arranging finance to setting up all the internal controls and processes for better control and management of the factories.
 
 
  He joined VOLTAMP in 2007 as a Financial Controller and is responsible for setting up the entire Finance and Accounting Department along with all internal controls for the company.  
     
 
 

Ganesh Prabhakar Nadgouda - Works Manager

 
Ganesh, born in 1970 has a Bachelors in Engineering followed by over 16 years of experience in various functions and organizations in the transformers industry from distribution to power transformer up to 400 kV Class. Ganesh is responsible for the entire operation of the plant and additionally supports marketing.

He joined VOLTAMP in 2007 as a Works Manager and is responsible for the Production of the factory.
